King Jesus Is Worthy
Aloha from the Wonser Ohana!
We are officially on furlough! Our plan is to be on furlough for the next year, to regain vital prayerful and financial partnerships, to continue serving Christ, as missionaries. We have already visited some congregations that partner with us. King Jesus is worthy of all our praise & adoration. He gives us opportunities to share the gospel, everywhere that we travel. Last month, Michael traveled back to Oahu, to bury his dad & love on the disciples, that continue to serve Christ, in our absence. Michael was also in the hospital, with symptoms that echoed a severe heart attack. On a pain scale of 1-10, he felt like it was a 35, as if a massive railroad spike was being driven through his chest. We are thankful, that Jehovah Rapha, has brought physical healing, and Michael’s health is improving.
Exciting News From The Philippines
As many of you know, we preached the gospel faithfully, for 13 years, in Cebu, Philippines. We are excited to announce, that God is moving mightily, through the Philippine Dream Center & the accompanying church that we planted, in the mountains of Cebu. Malipayon Baptist Church has been re-named: Bible Baptist Church, & now has a permanent concrete building, to worship in. There have also been 6 other churches, started in the mountains of Cebu, as a result of our efforts, preaching the gospel there. Michael’s best friend Roy (who tried to kill him & our family), has apologized, repented & desires true reconciliation.
Please pray for our Ohana, as we consider taking a trip to the Philippines, this next spring. Michael has a Filipino Uncle, that faithfully preaches the gospel, several hours north of Manila. For 13 years, he has consistently asked us to visit & minister with him. We need heavenly wisdom, to determine the will of God, concerning these things. Regardless if we visit or not, a group of friends, already plan on visiting Cebu & staying there for almost a month. How exciting is the restoration we have in Christ!
Things Near & Dear to Our Hearts
1. Please pray for Michael’s “Uncle Bruce” in Australia. He was recently diagnosed with a severe sickness in his body & needs supernatural healing. He is married to a Filipina and has two sons. He needs prayer!
2. Please pray for our grand-daughter Kai’ella. She is now 9 months old. During the next year, we will be helping our daughter Annabelle, set up a home & connect with a community of Christians, that can help support her as a young mother, to our beautiful Grand-daughter. Annabelle would welcome all of the prayer & support from everyone around the world.
3. Our eldest daughter & her husband (Kasen & Dixie Akana), remain in Oahu, faithfully serving Christ, in the church that Kasen’s Dad pastors.
