Dear Friends,

Last month I was in Potruagal where Global  Faith missionaries David a n d Sarah Booth minister. A highlight of the trip was visiting with the Booths and Amanda Bloom, an ABWE missionary, and seeing an important project in which they are involved.   Amanda and Sarah are collaborating with the Portuguese Bible Society to produce a video format of the Portuguese Bible in sign language. This is a long-term project that will take years to
complete.

While returning home last month after my ministry trip, I reflected on what I had observed, particularly regarding the deaf ministry efforts of both Amanda and Sarah. Twenty-two years after first meeting these wonderful missionaries, I still have the blessing of serving with them as we reach the world with the gospel. While those were extremely busy days, it was well worth the time and effort invested in young lives for the cause of global missionary work. You are an essential part of this ongoing missionary story and the many ministry connections that God gives us. Thank you for your part in our ministry.
