No job is too small,  1 Kings 3:16 & 28

Verse 16 tells us clearly that these women were sinfully wicked. These women were not worth the King’s time. This case did not warrant the King’s wisdom. If this case came up today they should be jailed for their lifestyle and the child given over to other parents. Despite their sinfulness, Solomon took time to deal with them. No Job is Too Small.

Have you ever seen the business slogan, “No Job too Big or too Small?” Have you ever felt as if the task given to you is below you? Or, that your talent could better be used with something more important? Let us never come to the place where we feel:

  • A job/task is below us.
  • A person is below us and not worthy of our time.

Verse 28 shows us how God worked through this. Solomon, the new King gained instant respect. God was given glory.

Colossians 3:23 “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
