The 41" Anniversary of
Calvary Baptist Church

Dear Friends,

When I first visited Calvary Baptist Church on Grand Cayman, it was a new church plant. They didn't have a church building at the time; they met on Sundays at a local facility that wasn't theirs, so they set up chairs before each service and took everything down afterward, which required a lot of work.

What they did have was 1)Missionary Bob Vradenburgh, my brother-in-law, who was God- called and God-led in the ministry he was doing on Grand Cayman. Bob had a vision for the kind of church he wanted to start. 2)A group of believers who were growing in the Lord. There is something exciting about a new church plant as the membership is excited about what God is doing. Over time, God miraculously provided land and funds to build a beautiful church facility as well as a body of believers who were discipled and growing in the knowledge of God's Word and their relationship with the Lord.
