Dear Friends,
Teaching the Word of God is an essential element of Biblical missions. We are commanded to teach and preach God's Word. This is how any ministry, wherever it may be, will see believers experience spiritual growth. Untess I am traveling for ministry purposes, I teach the adult Bible study on Wednesday evenings at our Spanish church. Our group is made up of people from Mexico and Eight semesters of Bible studies various Central American countries. to get from Genesis - Malachi.
Four years ago, I developed and began teaching an overview of each book of the Bible for our group. My goal was to quickly go through this study. But as we started in Genesis, there was great interest in details, and the group wanted to know more. Therefore, the studies were progressing more slowly than I had planned. About halfway through the Old Testament, I told the group I would speed up the pace of our studies so we could move along.
My comment was met by an immediate and unanimous "No, we are learning things we did not
know. Please take your time in teaching this series."
Last month, we finally finished the Old Testament studies with the book of Malachi, four years after I started with Genesis! We are preparing now to start the New Testament overview. It is a blessing to teach those who show interest in learning and knowing more of God's Word.
Your partnership in our ministry is helping believers grow in faith.
Thank you for your part in these ministries.
Sincerely,
Roy & Edi Seals
