Dear Friends,
The Iglesia Bautista El Buen Pastor, located in the village of Mama (meaning "no" in the Maya language), is led by Pastor Eduardo. His wife Imelda is responsible for the children's ministries in the church. When I was at the church recently, I saw three feed bags full of cardboard in a corner of the church. Pastor Eduardo told me, "Imelda collects pieces of cardboard that she finds and uses them in our Sunday School ministry for the children. This is how they make crafts that are related to the Bible lessons on Sundays." This church has a heart for children's ministry activity; however, they are lacking in financial resources. They do the best they can by collecting what other people discard and recycling it into Bible lesson materials, I am both blessed and challenged by the resourcefulness of these dedicated people who faithfully serve the Lord despite their limited resources.
If you would like to help provide resources for churches such as "The Good Shepherd Baptist Church" in Mama, you can donate to:

Sincerely,
