     Think of the joy that Oprah Winfrey had this week when she learned for a fact that she had a half sister. It was proved from the DNA.

God put identification on us: a piece of fingernail, one single hair, fingerprints, palm prints…that I can readily think of. We are unique and as the technology advances, we can find each other. But, more beautifully, God knows us and where we are.

I love the scripture, “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalms 139:14.

God knows where each one of us are. That’s wonderful and fearful. And it would be great if people from Oprah Winfrey right on up to you and me would know that more. It was a delightful week for Oprah, for she found someone. It’s a great day for us because we found more evidence of the God who is near. Let us draw nigh unto His throne of grace.
